(Echt) Stonsdorfer 031 Herbal Bitter $56.99
In an old recipe book, we discovered the recipe for “Echt Stonsdorf” from the Silesian community of Stonsdorf. What caught our eye right away was the unusual combination of blueberries with traditional bitter herbs as well as aniseed and galangal. When we told Lisa Bauer about this recipe, she immediately started trying it out. She developed her own ideas for the (ECHT) STONSDORFER 031. She expanded the berry aroma with sloes and currants and revised the mixing ratio the botanicals. Therefore, we do not claim to be original. Our claim for the best ingredients and the highest quality applies all the more. TASTING NOTES Nose: Spice Flavors, Anise, Eucalyptus, Musky Palate: Dried Fruits, Berry, Fennel, Bitter Aromas, Slight Spiciness (Calamus, Galangal)
Haselnuss (Wacholder) 051 Gin $58.99
Hazelnut is one of the most popular German spirits. Often, however, these are more reminiscent of the liquid form of the well-known nut nougat spread in terms of taste. For this, we wanted to create a “grown-up” and above all natural alternative. Gerhard Liebel from the Bavarian Forest uses fresh juniper berries in addition to roasted hazelnut for this distillate. This combination not only perfectly complements the two flavors, but also allows aromas to emerge that the individual ingredients would not otherwise reveal. We can proudly say: The whole is more than the sum of its parts. TASTING NOTES Nose: Hazelnut, Nougat, Pine Mouth: Hazelnut, Milk Chocolate, Roasted Nut, Lemon, Pine, Vanilla, Black Pepper

It was first mentioned in documents in 1707. The history started in a brewery with a tavern, where the unused beer was distilled. Under the direction of Franz Anton Sasse, the distillery was modernized in 1885 according to new technical developments. In 1972, the company premises in the village center of Schöpping became too small, followed by relocation and new construction. After the death of Theo Sasse in 1976, his son Ernst realigned the farm and began specializing in grain brandy aged in barrels. In the 80s, the distillery is stopped. When Rüdiger Sasse takes over the business from his father, he wants to build on the passion of his grandfather and builds a historic distillery in 2004. Since then he distills high-quality spirits from different cereals. Rüdiger Sasse is one of the pioneers responsible for a qualitative turnaround in Germans Kornbrand. His enthusiasm for the craft has been rewarded several times. His barreled grain spirit was honored as the best whiskey in continental Europe at the 2010 International Wine and Spirits Competition in London. And since 2017, the distillery Sasse belongs to the exquisite circle, which was awarded the title World Class Distillery at the prestigious World Spirits Awards (WSA) for three consecutive years.

Cassis 775 Black Currant Liqueur $58.99
In his distillery in the Honenhohe region in Southern Germany, Fritz-Martin Mozer only processes and distills fruits that he has grown himself. For CASSIS 775, the black currants are not macerated - as is common practice - but freshly pressed. Blackcurrant eau-de-vie, which Fritz Martin also distills himself, is added. This also distinguishes this liqueur from other cassis, because the addition of currant eau-de-vie gives it a high level of complexity and typicality. The EU Spirits Regulation defines a minimum content of 400 grams of sugar per liter for Crème de Cassis. CASSIS 775 is a fresh, fruity liqueur with half the sugar content of commercially available products.
