Matthias Schulz, who is the fourth generation to manage the Diesdorf fruit press and distillery in Altmark, a region in Saxony-Anhalt, and liqueur expert Gerald Schroff from Preussische Spirituosen Manufacktur in Berlin have joined forces for RHABARBER 960. Their liqueur is based exclusively on hone-made rhubarb juice, rhubarb eau de vie and sugar - not even water is added. The Rhubarb variety >Holsteiner Blut< has notes of green apple, grapefruit and subtle raspberry aromas. The finish reveals lime aroma and the typical flavor of rhubarb due to oxalic acid.
